Book Coaching
Who is this for?
Book Coaching is a creative partnership between an Author and a Coach. This service is for writers who are drafting their story (Protodraft, First Draft, Second Draft) and want to make sure that their story is as good as it can be.
Goals
The most comprehensive plan for writers to improve their story. Book Coaching will take the author from plan to outline to protodraft. Most importantly, a Book Coach motivates you to get to the next step, keeping you accountable and moving forward. They follow up with your progress, read what you write before each meeting, and bring knowledgeable feedback to each meeting with actionable takeaways and homework.
Working with a Book Coach will always create a better, stronger story than writing alone.

Developmental Editing
Who is this for?
Developmental Editing is for authors who have completed their major drafts and want dedicated investment and guidance from a knowledgeable source.
Goals
Developmental Editing includes full reading of the manuscript (80k words maximum, see note below for higher wordcounts) and a comprehensive breakdown of each major narrative journey: Character journeys, Storyline A and B, and Global Story. With these narrative journeys outlined, Author and Coach work together to strengthen each element. Developmental Editing results in actionable takeaways to strengthen their next draft within a single 2-hour meeting.
